Apples and Pears...up the stairs

I've had my eye on the Cath Kidston Apples and Pears print for awhile now so when this skirt was reduced in the sale I snapped it up and what better place to photograph it than in the beautiful city of Chester where I study. I love living in Chester so much, it's such a pretty place and there are so many hidden gems.

The print on this skirt is made up of apples and pears, I think it's lovely and the colours work really well together. I think it could pass for a genuine fifties print. It's a good quality cotton and the skirt is lined too, always a bonus.  The skirt has buttons running down the the front which add another feature, they are a lovely rich green. I picked out the main colours of red, green and yellow to accesorise this skirt and I was very happy with the overall outfit.

My Collectif princess coat is still one of my favourite items of clothing and was the perfect accompaniment to this outfit along with my red leather satchel.

One of the most iconic sights of Chester is the Eastgate clock, apparently it is one the most photographed clocks in the world so we were very lucky that there was no one around when we took these photos!
